Amnesty International

This video from Amnesty International is an excellent example of synthesis between art and activism. Utilizing public spaces and angled vantage points to create emergent images of persons who have suffered human rights abuses, these street art installations have the effect of raising awareness through the actual motion of the viewer–the images are latent until the viewer participates with the images. A great video and a great project illustrating the active role art can play in promoting public awareness.
